The Archive of the Condes of Revillagigedo is made available for research through a contractual agreement between the University of Florida and don Álvaro Armada Barcaiztequi, Conde de Revilla-Gigedo. The University of Florida maintains a positive copy of the full microfilm of the collection and preserves a master negative. The Archive is open for academic research and publication, provided researchers recognize that it is privately held, and that there are some restrictions on distribution of content.
